Throughout this website there was information regarding the countries, New Zealand and Cyprus. The purpose for this information was to further inform you about overall development of the country, Cyrpus in comparison to the already developed country, New Zealand.

Cyprus is a island located in the Eastern Mediterranean. Approximately 30% of the island is inhabited by Turkish Cypriots and it is divided along what is called the Green Line, which runs along a 225 kilometer stretch. If you were an average person in Cyprus today, and a average person in New Zealand today, there would be enormous differences in the lifestyle you live and the life around you. In Cyprus and in New Zealand, you would be able to comfortably own a car and be expected to live until around 80 years old. In New Zealand, you would be expected to obtain around 19 years of education and in Cyprus you would be expected to obtain around 15 years of education. As a result, your future in New Zealand is a lot more prosperous than it would in Cyprus, suggesting that in Cyprus on average you wouldn't have the same job opportunities as you would have in New Zealand. There is just example of how a slight difference in the expected years of education and the development of the economies in New Zealand and Cyprus can impact the overall future of someone. To conclude, Cyprus is still a developing country and in around 50 to 100 years, it would be almost certain that Cyprus can become as developed or relatively close to the countries who are leading in innovation today.
